On 15th April 2024, the Rotary Club of Northbridge WA celebrated 40 years since it was first chartered. We held a very special event to mark the occasion, with over 60 people in attendance, including current members and partners, many past members and special guests. Among our current members, we are very fortunate to have four of our charter members (Victor Giudicatti, Wally Ozich, Sam Trimboli and Peter White), who were all present on the night. A very special guest at the event was Carl Torre, the Club's inaugural President for the year 1984 - 1985, with his wife Maria.
Current members and guests mingled with former members, many of whom reminisced about events and personalities from the founding years. We were entertained musically by WAAPA student Rosalie Wolf. The event was held at Pappagallo's Cafe Pizzeria in Leederville, which has become a popular venue for our Club's social events, reflecting the strong connection to the Italian heritage of many of our members over the years, and to the community life of Northbridge.
- 40 years of service to the community
- 40 years of commitment to the integrity and values of Rotary International
- 40 years of an outstanding culture of fellowship which has become the lifeblood of this club and for which the Rotary Club of Northbridge WA is deservedly well renowned.
